(These were all posted on a different website, which is why the dates are all the same.)
Ricky Braddy, singing "A Song For You." Weak and unremarkable. Goodbye.
Alexis Grace, singing "Never Loved a Man." It takes serious chops to be able to sing Aretha Franklin and Alexis has them. She nailed the song. If she is not in with that performance I will eat my cell phone.
Brent Keith, singing "Hick Town." Good song, good performance. He will rock as a country artist but I doubt he will stay in this competition.
Stevie Wright, "You Belong With Me." Ohhh, Stevie. She killed "At Last" and now she's going to go to Taylor freaking Swift? Nothing against Taylor but this was a bad news bears song choice. Nope, Stevie, sorry.
Noop Dog, "Angel of Mine." This is not a bad performance, but it took on the quality of a David Archuleta song--you know, the kind he sung at the end of the show last year when we were all saying, "Come on David, give us something that's not a sappy ballad." It was extremely safe. I think he has a big enough fan following to get him in. I hope so, because I think he is better than he sang tonight.
Casey Carlson, "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic." Casey, you just ruined a great Police song, congratulations. A trainwreck.
Michael Sarver, "I Don't Wanna Be." A good song choice, I was looking forward to it. But the performance and execution was merely average. I don't think he will make it through, which is a shame.
Anne-Marie, "Natural Woman." Anne-Marie, what are you thinking? You don't have the chops for this. Goodbye.
Stephen Fowler, "Rock With You." Goodbye.
Tatiana del Drama, "Saving All My Love For You." "Get your earplugs, she is singing Whitney, this will be a train wreck. Started off way too quiet, I couldn't hear her. I like the tone of her voice and in the beginning, she nails every single note. If it weren't for her annoying personality I would like her. Sadly in one of the big parts she loses pitch and then fails to get it back. The last note was off a bit. Is she going to cry? She is going to cry. Shut up and go home.
Danny Gokey, "Hero." Hit the ball out of the park.
My top 4:
1. Danny
2. Alexis
3. Anoop
4. Jackie
The rest can all go home.
